If you’re like most people, you think of creativity as belonging to members of a private club, reserved like that corner table by the window for a select few. Some people have even written that the artistic gift must be inherited through the right set of genes. You, on the other hand (sigh!), are fated to be a consumer of creativity, decorating your foyer with other people’s sculptures, spending your evenings watching other people’s visions on a 26-inch TV screen. When it is time to vacation, as language workers we must find new ways to let our creative juices run wild. These vacations are not only packed with fun but they will also give you that extra push to complete your artistic masterpiece.

Whatever your creative interests might be, for example, photography, dancing, drawing, painting, music, dancing and so on, there is a weekend getaway to meet every translators needs for relaxation and inspiration.. Sam Houston once said that a country can be defined by its artists. Certainly, San Diego —a perfector of the sassy, improvisational tango—would agree. Throughout time, this famous and provocative dance was known for groundbreaking approach that allowed each partner to touch the other. This was unheard of before. While the dance has its roots in Argentina, many people find it challenging to imagine how this dance could have made its way into mainstream society and to even cross borders throughout the world.
