These rivers of ice are created from the Andes Mountains ice cap and is the largest ice cap following Antarctica and Greenland. The visitor can expect to see a variety of wildlife and be treated to the opportunity to view of 1000 different bird species. The Gray Fox and Guanaco are only a few of the well know animal inhabitants who enjoy the snow topped mountains and crystal lakes of their homeland, Los Glaciares National Park.
