If you are looking for a place off the beaten path that still offers all the benefits of a typical vacation destination, consider traveling to Morocco. Passport expediting is what these online sites specialize in. These sites help people who would rather not wait at the post office and then wait for months until their passport gets to them. All you need to do is go online, complete an application, pick when you’d like your passport delivered by, and then you’re set. They offer even more services than just quick shipping, such as helping people add passport pages.
Morocco is notable for its amount of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The places picked by UNESCO to be World Heritage Sites get this special distinction when they hold immense amounts of historical, archaeological, or natural significance in our world.
The UNESCO World Heritage Sites found in Morocco are generally either archaeological sites or historical sites. A very famous World Heritage Site is Valubilis. Valubilis was a very important town to the Romans, and there is a whole city of Roman ruins to explore. Two of the most impressive buildings are the Capitol and the Basilica. Many of the columns originally built in the Capitol are still there, and you can still walk the center aisle of the Basilica. There are many mosaics around the site, many depicting Classical Roman mythology, like various sea monsters and Diana, the goddess of the moon and the hunt.
Another World Heritage Site located in Morocco is the historic city of Meknes, and much like Valubilis, it has an extensive history. However, unlike Valubilis, this city is still inhabited. Dar El Makhzen palace is one of its most extraordinary sights. Moulay Ismail was a Moroccan ruler for 60 years in the 17th and 18th century, and Dar El Makhzen was his residence. Bab Mansour gate is another cool spot to visit, and it has a very interesting background. El-Mansour constructed this gate under the reign of Moulay Ismail. The beautiful columns were actually authentic ones from Valubilis, and it was decorated with mosaics. Upon completion, Ismail asked El-Mansur if he could do better. El-Mansur was executed for replying, “Yes.”
In Morocco, you will find no shortage of culture, religion, and history to experience. The streets are alive with color, but the huge mobs of tourists are no where to be found. Remember to have your passports though. An online expedited passport service can help you get your passport in a hurry, along with other services to help you renew, replace, or add U.S. passport pages.

Admission to this site also opens the Theatre of Dionysus, the Roman Agora and the Temple of Olympian Zeus to the traveler.
Arts and culture are huge in Athens; after all, this is where drama originated. There are larger, more popular places to see, like the National Gallery, but dotted around the city are smaller galleries where you can experience even more Classical art. 148 theatres exist in Athens, meaning if you are looking to see a performance, you needn’t go far. Prepare For A Memorable London Vacation
London is seriously unlike any other city I had ever been to before. Some of my fondest memories came from my week trip to London, and the trouble of having to add extra US passport pages, getting special electrical plugs and exchanging currency seemed so small once I arrived. London is unmatched in its unique quality, and getting to experience that first hand was life changing.
Some get discouraged from traveling due to all the processes involved. While I was getting additional passport pages, my mom was telling me how she disliked traveling because of all the planning that’s involved. However, once you spend a while exploring and experiencing, the stress becomes irrelevant. Trust me.
If you love art, London is the place for you. Walking through London is like walking through a real life museum. The monuments, the huge buildings, and the atmosphere create such an immersing environment. Even the street art is beautiful. I spent a whole day walking around the Victoria and Albert Museum, or just the V and A Museum. Huge rooms packed with artifacts from every civilization were everywhere, and that was only one wing of the museum. Standing beside a huge, ancient artifact left me feeling so small and insignificant in the scheme of things, and it was such a cool learning experience. Huge halls filled with everything from fashion exhibits to fine art wove through the Museum, and I left feeling like I had walked though ten different museums.
I then got to explore the Tate Modern Museum, which was a pretty sharp contrast to the Victoria and Albert Museum. I generally wasn’t very impressed by my earlier experiences with modern art, but the Tate changed that. Just walking into the huge building was a pretty neat experience. I spent hours and hours both looking at and interacting with the art, some of which held very powerful messages. I left feeling pretty empowered.
The peak experience of my trip was getting to experience Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. As an English major, I hold an engrossing love for William Shakespeare and his plays, and getting to see them performed at their home was a truly humbling experience. I decided that the “groundling” experience was the way to go, being a little short on money. I had hit the gift shop, and had let loose a little too much. How could I resist the “Montague & Capulet” tote bag? I couldn’t. The play was incredible, and although my feet ached a little, it was easily disregarded when getting to stand at the edge of the stage. The atmosphere was so unique, and there was a vast difference from the theatre experiences I had previously been acquainted with.
If there is somewhere you’ve always wanted to go, whether it’s London, Paris, or Tokyo, just go. Something is calling you there, and probably for good reason. So get yourself a new passport or add USA passport pages, pack your bags, and be ready for the trip of a lifetime.
