Scotland (argyll area)For mountain biking, get off the 816 highway on to Ford and Eredine. There is the Eredine Forest off of Loch Awe. Head towards Portinisherrich. Just beautiful. One lane road with passing places. Take out the bikes when you get to the forestry and bike through there along the Loch Awe. Or through the Grampian Mountains/Trossachs area off of the A85 through those mountains. Pine forestry, not as pretty though.
As for spas, any of the big cities like Edinburgh or Glasgow have that available.
