Where in Batangas can I get a good and affordable beach resort?
jennylove asked:
Batangas is one of the beautiful places where a great beach can be found which isn’t too far from Manila. This summer I want to hit a good beach that can give me an affordable offer. I’m gonna stay there overnight with 10 of my friends, and our budget is only Php2,000 each (which includes transportation, food, accomodation and day tour). Can you name me a good resort that can offer me what I can afford? Thanks in advance!

Laiya in San Juan Batangas is the best and most affordable place. There are several options. Coco Grove is one.
Please just google. No description could be better than what you will see in their site.

Go to nasugbu. There are a million and one beaches there, all very good, and with options for basic and “luxury” acommodations.

At 20 persons, and Php 2000 each, you have a very good budget.
Depending on what you want, you can check out the following:
1. Calatagan – if you have kids or young adults who does not really know how to swim, this would be the ideal location due to the long stretch of sand. Lots of starfish and not so many jelly fish. You can rent one of those boat huts and be dragged to neck deep waters if you want to swim a bit. The resort beside or near Pico De Loro would be cheaper but hey it’s the same beach front.
2. for snorklers, go hit Matabungkay, get a cottage and stay the night. Cook your own food or bring cooked rice and ADOBO, RED EGG, Cooked barbicue (chicken or pork) and the whole gaqng would love it.
3. Party, Party, party — go to Puerto Galera and get a small cottage – you dont want to sleep anyways, just shower and change clothes. You have options to snorkel, swim, party or hike.
Again to save on money and be low cost, it’s either you have one transport and pay for the fuel or if Puerto Galera, take the public transport go by bus (JAM). Cook your food and bring them with you. Though there are resorts that dont allow you to bring in food, just leave them inside your vehicle and eat there together during lunch and dinner (stay out of the resort). And go for the not so pricey (less developed resorts).
Lian, San Juan and other parts of Batangas also has lots of beach front and good white sand, but it’s further South, deeper towards Quezon.

visit our town!!,,mabini,,,
anilao is very nice!!
beach resort
I agree with Jef 100%
Calatagan has nice beaches, try Rosegold further end of Calatagan, then you may also want to try Golden Sunset of Ricky Reyes, Lago De Oro, you may want to view their websites
If you want some diving, try Maya maya resort after punta fuego in Nasugbu (further down), its so peaceful, and you can go snorklng just beside the resort, to get to the beach, you have to ride a boat (for free)
Anilao is nice also (not so far from Manila)
Laiya is quite far, but the beach is good, white fine sands
There are a lot, but I dont recommend Matabungcay, the beach is not nice, cottages are rundown but Im not sure if they’ve renovated already, but the beach itself is not good. I dont like the sands
