I bought my original jet ski back in ‘04 when my family and I began vacationing on the lake. I got to thinking about the trailer that carried the ski and recall thinking that they are standard and might be a heap superior with a couple of alterations made to them. It was when I got home that I decided to make my personal custom jet ski trailers. It will include stuff that I wanted rather than what a jet ski manufacturer wanted me to have. So what did I feature in my personalised trailer?

Solid Checker Plate Bottom

I created a checker plate floor for the trailer for starters. Being rust proof was clearly a important point but it allowed me to store equipment beneath the jet ski which would normally be in the car for example life vests, ski ropes etc.

Side Steps

I wasn’t interested in standing on the framework to get to the craft so I created some strong side steps to make accessibility to the jet ski much easier.

Choice of Colour

I did not want a dreary looking jet ski trailer so I made two of them and painted one white and the other black to fit with the colour of one of my jet skis. This monster looked great.

Jerry Can Holder

This made perfect sense to me to add a fuel can holder. Having the jerry can in close proximity made refuelling a cinch.

Jockey Wheel and Winch

I found the very best out there to ensure I wasn’t changing these vital components too much. They had to be strong and last and that’s what we use on every one of our jetski trailers.
